I like Skrillex’s production but yea, something makes you want to punch his little emo face. It’s like finding out that your favorite metal band is gay. Anyone heard of Bare? that dude is nasty! Omar Santana & Evan Gamble Lewis dub album is the next level shit!! It’s extremely well produced and the tracks are huge and mean with mind blowing sub!!! Of course I can’t forget my boys Datsik and Excision. Swagga is one of my fav all timers. Also, Culprate. Their track Trenchfoot is retarded mean!

My favorite artist have to be bassnectar and skrillex. My playlist is also filled with great artist like Doctor P, Flux pavilion, and Datsik. And i checked out chase and status… They actually suck. I hated every single song. Also if you are just getting into dubstep a lot of people usually like house too. Check out kaskade. Then the widdler. Maybe it was just a few songs i checked out but his music is so weak. If you really want an awesome website for dubstep/techno/break/house/trance and all that good stuff check out trackitdown.net

I need some help guys. I’m actually a metal fan (death, black metal) from way back. But, I’m a big fan of bands like Hybrid, The Crystal Method etc. I’m pretty keen to hear some new stuff. I got Nero’s Welcome Reality and like the darker, heavier side of Drum n Bass. Some of the Nero stuff is OK. It was classified as Dubstep so figured you guys know what your talking about. Any recommendations for dark, powerful, bass heavy, drum n bass/dubstep style bands?

Skrillex did bad ass with korn on Get up but his old band was gay and he does remix alot of gay songs but his dubstep makes up for the gayness of some of the songs. bassnectar is the shit and flux pavillion is bad ass. diesels good and neros not bad

Despite what alot of people say about Skillex I actually enjoy his music. The only 3 complaints about him that I have are, 1. The first time I googled “Skrillex” I thought he had an over obsessive female fan who postyed to many pics of herself…. Then I relized that is actually him and was a little creeped out. 2. His song “Reptile” was horribly boaring and made me want to punch babies. 3.”Rock n’ Roll” Is the most annoying damn song I have ever heard. “Kill EVERYBODY” for instance is a great song by him in my opinion. I also wanted to post a recommendation with this, if you haven’t heard the song “Bass Invaders & Red Alert” by Chrispy you should check it out.

Skrillex so far is the only Dubstep worth listening to. I like a lot of music, and sometimes my friends give me shit when i try out something new, until I get them in it. I listened to all these bands, and folks, I gotta tell ya, its crap. I listened to Skrillex on accident, and it’s awesome. Its something you move to. This dubstep is just….it sounds like whale farts. To all the Skrillex bashers, i may not understand the genre, and hell, I dont want to, but he just sounds better. From First to Last was the greatest emo band on earth, and now Sonny made the only dubstep worth listening to. good for him

I’m quite new to dubstep around a year of listening but I like it but for most of the tracks I feel they need something else. I really like dedication by zomby although I’m not sure it should be classed or is dubstep you’ll have to tell me, I’m liking digital mystiks for the club style tunes and 16 bit, but in general I’m hoping to hear something mind blowing and very musical at the same time. Sometimes I feel artists just bang noises together and the bass and wobble sometimes just gets murdered i need the base and wobble to change more.

The thing is, Skrillex IS NOT DUBSTEP. Skrillex is mainly Brostep which wasbrought in by Skrillex in 2010. He is also associated with Fidgit house and Electronica, but he really isnt Dubstep. Theres a quick lesson for all of you nerds:)

im sorry to say but Skrillex is the best artist. it doesnt matter if he wasnt one of the founders of Dubstep he has talent and we need to respect that. How many people do you know who does what they love? he loves to do this its his passion he doesnt have to do it but he does. i didnt know that this was a gossip sight. if you guys acually are doing something you love than you know how it feels its your passion and people respect that. so guys just respect him. and who cares if he is emo or not i dont see whats wrong with it. its his business if he is. thats something thats persional to him. and all his song are really good none of them are bad.

This Dubstep is really slow, & there aren’t any real drops, which is one of the things that made Dubstep famous. BTW Skrillex is brostep, which is like electronica with robotic soundeffects. Skrillex makes Dubstep look bad because of his terrible bass.
