A review on Superior Drummer 2, a piece of software I’ve been using for a while now!

Sometimes life is awesome.

I got to interview one of my all-time favourite producers and musicians recently – Misha “Bulb” Mansoor of the amazing band Periphery. He revealed a bunch of useful tips when it comes to producing, particularly for Metal guitars, but also some more general stuff too.

Convenient Link – Grab the sample pack there. And yeah, that’s what a boyinaband sample pack looks like in real life.

Right click and click “save as” on this link to download the samples!

Let me know if you have any ideas for next month’s sample pack in a comment below!

It’s the end! Repent!

Not really, just the last day of the 7 day spotlight on Silent Decent – Today, Tom takes us on a tour of Silent Descent Studios and proves once and for all that you can get amazing quality sounds out of a modest set-up!

I particularly like his vocal booth! Looks legit.

Silent Descent’s Tom Callahan gives a quick top 10 of the most useful tips he has for producers.

He knows his stuff!
