dubstep guitar

Hi ! I just discovered this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtQfqKOx ... ure=relmfu in which dave explain how to play dubstep guitar. But I don't understand how does he get this sound with a guitar ! does he plug the guitar in some synths ? Is it just a VST ? does he use a particular software, and if he does, which one ?

Reason. He just edited the sound afterwards to match the image, i'm guessing. That or he bought an actual dubstep guitar, but those things are so expensive.

ok Rmonik, but if he edits the sound afterwards, do you know which software does he use to get this sound ?

The sound is probably just reason or sonar, some basic synth patch. I don't know with hat software he edits his videos.

I don't know which one he did use, but he could've used any of them, probably.
