Alright guys, I've had a few takers for another competition. So here it is!
The Rules:
1. The entry must be an original composition. No remixes please, and no old material!
2. Any style is allowed, so go nuts!
3. Any DAW is allowed, and you can use any samples you like, as long as they're licensed and royalty free.
4. Collaboration is allowed
5. Only one entry per person. This includes collabration. So, if you are collabrating with someone, don't try to submit a solo effort aswell.
6. Please keep the duration to around 5 minutes. You can go over this, but please go easy on it
7. The entry must be submitted in a 320 kbps .mp3 format, and properly labelled, which is [Artist] - [Name of composition] - Boyinaband Forum
For example, ReSet - Corona - Boyinaband Forum
8. Please upload your submissions to soundcloud (I am of course assuming that everyone here has one of these, if not, it's very easy to set up) as a private track, and put them in my dropbox @ http://soundcloud.com/reset/dropbox, with downloads enabled
9. The winner will be judged by musical merit and production quality. So take your time, make sure it's a good one!
10. The winning track will be uploaded onto my soundcloud page, credited and linked to the winner's page. (Not very impressive, I know, but it's the best I got
) The winner will also be promoted on the next biab update, as well as the judges soundcloud pages 1. The closing date is December 20th 2010. Any submissions after this date will be discounted
This is just a friendly competition, to bring the community together a bit. Should be fun
