Nanopad2!

Postby Infexis » Sun Mar 25, 2012 12:26 pm

Hello there! I've recently got a Korg Nanopad2 and I've been playing around with it for a while and I really like it, but, I am wondering if it's possible to trigger samples with the pads on the Nanopad. For example in reason 5, I could play the kick, snare, hi hat with three pads, then just play a synth or a bass with three other pads without having to change a bunch of stuff. Yeah, trigger samples.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I've never used Reason, but if it has a drum sampler like most daws, you should be able to assign the drum hits to different notes and then play those notes on your pads.

the kong is gonna be your friend on this one(i have a nanopad2) and as far as controlling two instruments at once with it, not entirely sure, in the sequencer view theres an option to like make certain controllers work with certain synths simultaneously, perhaps it can split the nanopad?

As far as i know, the pads just give note information, so you can split the keyboard in the combinator programmer, define what part of the keyboard plays what instrument.

Please don't revive old threads when the OP clearly hasn't posted anything in three months.
