yes. but the snare_kick_snare is the kuduro signature. they make it years ago. the cool beats, grooves and congas, they all recall the african rhythms.
these sounds are bit out of the mainstream genre right now, but they were super popular some time ago.
u still hear them in tech house and stuff.. at least on the european side. I don't think that the american producers use it much.
I like it.
