Just think it would be interesting to see what we're working with, even though we're all ITB for the most part...

Custom built desk hells yea

Yeah, that's right. My monitors are held up by paint cans. Hey, shut up. They're the only the I could find in the house tall enough and of equal height.

Mmmm...blofeld

My crappy bass guitar and a guitar which I can't even play...and my dog lol

Anybody else?

Little bit messy atm after recording the Superior Drummer vids (had to do external routing since I couldn't record sonar from within sonar!) so I apologise!

My Evolution MK-225C (lovely little MIDI controller), ergonomic keyboard and mouse (take care of your hands/wrists!) and Focusrite Saffire PRO firewire interface. Axe FX Ultra sitting smugly in the rack over there by the Rode NT-1. One big happy family!

Let's get this thread kicked off! :D

Haha.. is that actually a mouse? Look like a screwdriver charger :P Focusrite is great though!

I'll be posting mine up soon enough, believe it or not, but I own no camera.

Update in my setup:

MOTU 828 mk3 Hybrid
No more blofeld (prophet 08 soon!!!!!! :D )

Mmmmm...Genelec.

I hate those "ergonomic" keyboards. It seems like I would have to learn to type all over again just 'cause the key placement is so weird for me.

@Dave does your midi controller happen to have aftertouch? Couldn't find much online about it...

Naw. That was a while ago after I had just rearranged. I now have cables and papers and peach tea bottles everywhere. Still pretty organized, though. :)

Yeah, it's designed to reduce RSI, apparently. Took a frickin' age to get used to.

Yeah, took a while but now it's muuuuuch more comfortable than a conventional one.

And yeah, the MK-225C does have aftertouch, just checked :)

Yeh I decided not to post pictures cause it's not much of a studio. It's more of a. . . . bedroom. . . . :|
When I have more stuff I'll get pictures up but that will be a while cause I've just spent all my money on Pioneer cdj850s :P

My studio is literally in my bedroom that chinese pattern you can see in the image below is my beds pillow!

Image

This is the mother ship. It took me over a year to save up for but this is what all of my tunes now comes out of. I have another matching screen just knowhere to put it until i get a new desk

Image

This is my old machine i still use on the road or when i have a session going on people can just chuck ideas down in reason 3.0 while im writing on the big momma. I also sometimes use that smaller keyboard for automation within massive and other synths for live purposes.

I will have to post a pic when my room gets rearranged and a water tank gets removed
