To answer why in Windows but not Mac...

My assumption has to do with the amount of a system's resources each OS uses by itself.

For instance, Windows takes a bunch more ram and typically has more programs to focus on simultaneously than Macs. Now you can argue this is because of a Mac's efficiency, but truth be told, I think each OS has its uses.

If anyone has a Mac and this latency occurs for you too, it just means i'm wrong about it being OS dependent. But what I said about the problem in my first post was the way it was explained to me when i went searching for a solution to this problem.

I use:

ASIO4ALL

And it takes away almost all my latency (download, install and choose as audio card driver)

I'll have to try this. I believe i'm just using whatever drivers for my interface.

One issue: it takes up your audio whatever so you cant play audio on the internet while using it..:S
So just swich driver whenever you want to watch youtube or whatever

I use my interface as my sound card anyway.
