I FUCKING KNOW RIGHT. Everytime i check my soundcloud it's like "oh cool, 5 new followers", but they actual number of followers doesn't rise because i have been unfollowed 5 times too.

following other producers on soundcloud is a waste of time, unless you know them personally or from elsewhere. that's what I think.
the best thing is to have fans following you, people that actually like your music and never unfollow.

Also, I agree with izo that its pretty worthless following people on soundcloud unless you know them from somewhere else... people don't really use it as a social network aside from the spammers, just a place to upload tunes and link them from their *real* social networking sites
