Description: I saw your (Dave's) review on the primeloops XXL drum pack and decided to purchase it and make a beat.
So, I got started, looked at some tutorials to get an idea, then did my own thing. I should let you know that I also purchased the Planet of the Orchestra sample pack from primeloops.
However, the only sample used in the song is the loop of the intro before the drums kick in. It's slightly altered with some reverb and a vocoder as equaliser to tune the sound a bit.
I must say that I'm pretty impressed with all the tutorials and I've learned a lot. I really love how you explain things in a clear language and don't go too fast when explaining.
Ehm, yeah, the program used is Reason 4, I also used the "gangsta" synth from one of your tutorials which sounds awesomo, imo.
Anyway.. Yeah, Reason 4, hooked to a digital piano and that's about it. Also, I've got a problem with posting vids as video responses apparantly, my browser doesn't want to do it anymore.

Old timey loops make this sound AWESOME. The whole song moves really well too. Flow is great without getting repetitive. Good job using parts, cutting em out, bringing em in, etc. Very well made track.

The piano is home made, so is everything else except for that one loop you hear at the intro which pulls the song through.
