I am hearing half a house beat ( Kick on first and snare on second)
Completed by toms in the first half of the measure that make me think of kuduro beat (kind of syncopated).

how would you define this beat, and do you know anything close to it?

Basically just the song "float my boat" by Lazy Jay with some annoying black girl just talking through it and completely ruining the bridge by singing the line the synth does.

Seriously, i really really prefer the original.

And i believe this is just called house. Not that i really care.

Myeah, could be, i'm not too familiar with house subgenres. But i believe house is much older than the stuff they call "electro house" now, and it had way more complex beats.

House is a bit hard to pin down. Just "house" alone covers so many possibilities, sometimes the only common elements are the electronic drums, moderately fast tempo and four-to-the-floor kick beat. But they all have to have some kind of funky groove, otherwise it's not house. 4x4 aside, you have a lot of freedom with percussion in house, sometimes (especially in older tracks) you get sampled breakbeats over the basic beat, and that is one of the roots of breakbeat, hardcore and drum and bass. It's only electro house that doesn't usually have a lot of complex percussion in it, one of the many reasons I hate electro house.
Got no idea what that song is though. Other than moombahton, if you like drums complex, old school hip hop, breakbeat and some trip-hop can provide a lot of cool drumming.

I'd say moombahton and moobahcore are the only subgenres you're gonna get around the moombahton stuff, if you're lookin for artists, I'd say dillon francis is the only one I know but everyones doin it now, knife party, skrillex etc if you don't like that slow, just try some dutch house like afrojack, chuckie some lmfao, but they're pretty shite

yeah the original influence of moombah and uk funky beats is kuduro, made in angola... which is faster.
