I actually love this thread :D, I have 24 followers on soundcloud, for a while I had 30 :@ , but if all the people had stayed following me I would atleast have around 50

the annoying thing is thats not even an exaggeration. :(

oh, on this subject, a guy was following me, he commented on my dubstep track "Nice work!" I go and ccheck my soundcloud about a week later, boom. not only has he stopped following me, he deletes his FUCKING COMMENT.

instead of wasting time following other producers and random people on souncloud.. and being disappointed when they do not give feedback, send your tracks to djs that are accepting promos. they might support your tracks and play them often.
imo it's better to be proactive, in all ways possible... instead of waiting to be discovered.

some genres are more likely to become online popular, while others not so much. but that doesnt mean that they are not successful.
there are some amazing producers with not that much sc followers. you might get surprised, but they have stuff on various labels.
