This is cool, very old school feel to the track which I like.

I find the main bass sound overpowering, and if it's to be the focus of the track then I feel it could do with more variation.

I like your drum and general percussion work, and the random sounds that come and go make for an atmospheric track. The whiney electronic lead sound at the end works nicely. Just really the bass that I don't particularly like. You could try dropping it back a little making it less prominent in the mix, and then having a second bassline which moves about a bit more.

It' definitvely DnB (with a 1997 jungle feel). It's really groovy. I don't know how finished you are considering it but i think you could extend it to something with a little more song structure.

An other thing is the tempo. With 188 bpm it's relatively fast. DnB is normaly around 174 bpm. In 1997 it was around 165. I'm talking vinyl-DJ now: Normally you pitch up tracks while playing, because you don't want to stay around the 0% notch on the turntable, because the Technics SL1200/1210 mkII is really sensitive around there. So if you want to have it fast you can pitch it up while DJing. The other thing is key match. When you pitch up 7-8 bpm you pitch up a half note. So if you wan't your track to be compatible with a (vinyl, in key) DnB-Set it's best to set the tempo to 173-175, or 181-183, or 165-167 bpm.

I agree with the others-the groove is definitely there! I also like the oldschool-vibe of the track and the percussions in the background create a nice ambience!

About half way through it becomes a litte bit boring to me, because there´s nothing new happening. I´d try to bring in some variations - e.g. soloing the bassline for a few bars and then bringing the beat back in to keep it interesting! The leadsynth at the end sounds really cool - I think it would be a good idea to put some chord-progressions (Strings) underneath the lead and remove the main elements of the beat for a few bars if you want to extend the track!

The bass gets very repetitive, especially after about 2 mins. I would also work on the structure a little, eg theres not real intro it just starts and carries on, maybe add a breakdown section to stop the track getting overly repetitive.
This could be a great track with a little work :)

Nice oldskool groove man. I agree with others that it's a bit repetitive, chord progressions would work great with this, but instead of strings you should try stabs to stop the groove of your beat being slowed down by dragging strings.
Try changing up that bass, sometimes make it higher, or lower etc. Also make it a bit quieter. It's a bit too loud.

Everything else I can think of had been said :)

If you got the time, gimme some feedback on the track in the signature :)

I've been pretty busy but have had a few gos at this track, i am having a hard time making anything of it.
I'll keep trying but I think whatever I do next won't sound much like this clip.
I am very influenced by tracks from 12 o more years ago and was listening to a mixtape from UFO! that brought it all back and I was excited that I captured at least a feel for the percussion from dem daze :P
This is the one I was listening to http://goldenerajungle.com/php-files/vi ... ge_id=1669
and if you register you can listen to some more of his and a bunch of other djs here, http://goldenerajungle.com/php-files/vi ... age_id=880
UFO! told me that Inner City Pressure was for sure his favourite from that era.

Really cool vibe, I'd only bring in that main bass in the drops - perhaps making a chord progression out of it instead of using the same note over and over would help.

Try structuring it a bit more solidly - a different riff in the intro with different effects or something, then a more definite build.

I think some sweep-y effects and impact-type sounds could help define where the builds are as well.
