Probably should've posted this when I released it, but I just thought to ask your opinions on the mix.

Obviously it's really short, but other than structurally what d'ya think?

Not sure about this trance-gated bass/synth. It sounds more like rave, not dnb.

The name "Mum n Bass" is amusing ^^.

Maybe a little bit more sub? :)

I like the percussion but personally I'd add some more intense snare.

Overall, it's good, but frankly I can't imagine it played in the club :) As a gift for mother it's awesome ; p

The title made me laugh, fantastic idea! :P
As a short track, I liked the gritty bass and the rhythmic drum pattern you had going on. I thought the gating effect was pretty cool in my opinion I think you could have added something in the high end frequencies (you could bring back in the synth that you fade in just before the drop) for the last part of the drop to fill out the track a little more as the same bass becomes mildly repetitive after a while. The snare/synth you used at around 1:01 sounded a little odd in conjunction with the rest of the track - it could be little more punchy to give it a more percussive feel.

Aside from that rather opinionated criticism, I really enjoyed the track - I just wish you'd do an extended version because I found myself wanting more when it ended - I replayed it roughly 5 times to make up for the lack of continuation. Nice job! :D

lolled kinda lame I heard it after mother's day otherwise my mother would have had a gift...
the kick and snare really need some more punch and high end dude! also the drums need to be louder in the mix to make them drive the track!

The only problem I have with it is that the drums lack punch on the drop, other then that it's awesome!

I was hoping for a little more of a filthy bass feel - I suppose it being MnB as opposed to DnB means you can't be mean :P But other than that, great :D

LOL interesting mother's day track. Did you make this for your mother? I like to mother's day build up. The drums could be a bit puncher, and perhaps sonething besides "Mothers day at the end", otherwise pretty cool.
