Ground note and sub

Tell us how you got that killer synth effect, why you love your sequencer of choice or that you are sick of hearing the same lame preset every time you load up malstrom ¬_¬

Sample the Sub from a song that has a really nice deep sub (or whatever sub you're looking for) and then work that into the key you're playing in

but.. then your not with reset :?

I think you're misunderstanding. Take this track for example:

You know that high sub note? When that one plays it feels soooo much stronger in the track than if all the sub notes would be as powerful.
Maybe it's me who's misunderstanding what Reset said, but this is my opinion anyways :D

Both those tunes are large!
Seeing as we are now posting tunes with fat subs.... Rockwell - 4u
But yeah, see, I like this song, it has feeling and stuff as much as the next track, but has literally one or two sub bass notes haha. It's just about how you aim to do things!

well try tuning your track up or down a few half notes. Ive been thinking about trying that myself just to see if you can make the track heavier by tuning it down.

I dont think a tracks heavyness lies entirely in its key.
Dynamics and structure is pretty important too :P
