Well this sounds sweet on my laptop speakers - everything is pretty well defined and clear in the mix. The bassline rhythm is class and I love the psycehedelic instrumentation! Really great, thanks for making it downloadable. I'll edit this post if I think of anything else to suggest on headphones!

Have to say I loved this piece. Nice work! Made a sound cloud comment. Good and long but it was entertaining the whole way. Never heard of psybient before, learn new shit every day. Nice indian feel to it. The master was spot IMHO, but again thats only my .2 pesos worth.

I really like your track. it is interesting the whole way through even though it goes for along time. the production quality is awesome, a lot of reverb on the backing effects you can tell but it was fit in perfectly. nice job and keep up the good work

Very nice, as KellyB points out it does have an eastern feel to it. I like the effects at the beginning (bells I think) and the base that comes in at around 1 minute. The paddy element that comes in at 1:33 reminds me of the Deus Ex: HR kind of sound, not a bad thing at all however. Overall I liked it, the calmness to the end of the track i enjoyed with the static'y effect. Nice job.

lifelessalarm: Yes, FXs at beginning are some tibetian bells. Thanks for comment !

MaRrtiX: Thank You !

KellyB: Psybient is cross between ambient and psychedelic or psy-trance music as I understand it. It's genre which is not well known, but I love that mix of genres. Thanks for comment Kelly.

Never heard of the genre before, but thi definitely got me interested. Love all the little high synth parts that keep it fresh right through to the end. String part around 7:40 is a nice touch too

This reminds me of some of Juno Reactor's earlier work, a band you should definitely check out if you haven't already. This is a genre I'm a huge fan of, personally, I think that the combination of modern sounds and basses with the traditional eastern instruments and samples always sounds great. Personally, It could benefit from a more pronounced lead or main melody to help justify the song length. After a while it just felt like it kept coming back to the same droning bassline and sparse atmospheric effects.

I kept waiting for that point when all hell was going to break loose, and it never did. Which isn't a bad thing, just a different approach. I could see you taking a more shpongle-ish direction with it, and have it build to come really chaotic takes on the genre. Maybe like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... xX4#t=586s

Either way, good tune. I think you blended the worldly parts with the modern parts quite well.

Yes, I am huge fan of Shpongle. Listened to them quite often back in days, but now I am quite fed up with their music. Still like it, but don't listen to them anymore. Will check earlier work of Juno Reactor too. Thank you for feedback Fictionalhead !
