Hello guys, I'm an indie Singer/Songwriter in Chicago looking for talented producers/Remixers to showcase their talent on Solo EP that I am currently working on. I think the collaborations would be beneficial for all involved (your music, & creative vision - my songs, & creative vision). The Style of the music I'm working on it's ranges from Electronic Dark Pop/ Hip-hop, to Ethnic/rock acoustic, pop grooves. I'm working on production myself but I don't mind collaborating with local Chicago and other talented artists as well. http://www.facebook.com/GLB.MUSIC there are samples and live performances so you can get a taste of what I'm about, any other questions feel free to contact me.
Via through Facebook or on the forum, thank you guys.. ;G)

Kira, It's sweet that you are in Chicago and I appreciate your feedback.

I checked out your track, as it is good honestly I don't know if there is anything I can do vocally with it.
As you know I am a songwriter as well and for me to collaborate with someone,
I should have had some guidelines of my own but I didn't think about it before,
and here are some of my guidelines.

1: I feel that if I'm going to contribute, the song or tracks in question should fit/or or at least the tone of the singer in question

2: The song should have room for a "hook" or space for me to sing. I can see adding more melodies/effects in a intro portion or bridge or near the ending, but for the type of song it has to have space for lyrics.

Definitely can hear your voice in some house joints though. You got that "housey" sound(IMHO).

Peace

I'm looking to collaborate with producers to get tracks together for an EP/Solo Indie Album I'm working on. My style is like a mix of dark, street, edge, sexyiness, and some fight, I'm writing and recording for my project but I'm also looking for producers to work with, of course the producers I'm looking for it's all about the chemistry that's made but also looking to bring it to the next level. Of course working credits will be shared with what is done, I have an artistic vision but I'm always willing to listen to feedback and other options. I know electronic, and house music is very big right now, but I want this to be more than just that. if you have information, and work that you have done, let me know.
