Boyinaband’s next guest tutorial brings us subvibe’s bassy time!

If you like what you hear, grab their free EP:

Which includes my remix of “Burn” –

The second of my weekly updates informing you about what’s been happening and what will be happening with boyinaband!   Including the new tutorial, the upcoming blogs, a bit about the seven day song dubstep tutorial and some useful trivia about my home town!

Incidentally, I come across as kinda arrogant when I say the whole Lady Gaga Makeup tutorial thing, but I am in fact only jealous that I can’t pull off that look.

Be sure to head over to the youtube page and leave a comment (if you leave on on here *and* on there I’ll be more likely to do the tutorial you suggest!)

The first seven day song tutorial has come to an end!   Head over to day 7′s page to hear the final song, then jump on youtube to post your dubstep song as a video response!

Cheers for following along, guys!

Today we’ll turn the Dubstep loop into a Dubstep song! I explain about dubstep song conventions, change the drum loop for the verse and intro and arrange the song ready for the drops and fills we’ll add tomorrow!

Check it out here!

Today I finish off all the synth patches we’ll be using in our Dubstep song by adding a cheeky little lead line and a cool bass note that we’ll have for some drops in the track, similar to that of chase and status.

Check out day 4 of the dubstep tutorial!

It’s 2 for the price of one here at boyinaband!   In day 3 of the 7 day song tutorial I explain how to make two different dubstep wobble bass synths!

Head over to the day 3 dubstep tutorial page to watch and read the tutorial :D

Incidentally, cheers to everyone who’s been commenting and saying they’re following along; I look forward to hearing your tracks on the final day! :)
