As my second commissioned tutorial, I was asked to make the beat for Alice Deejay – Better off Alone.
This is an ace track with some really nice synths that aren’t too hard to emulate. I have also written a bit extra in the tutorial text about how the epic outro is so epic as per my instructions 
After making the beat, I had quite a few PMs to make a karaoke version of We like Sportz for youtube, so I went ahead and obliged them
As my first public commission, I was asked to make a Dirty South style beat and explain both the synths and my creative process whilst doing so – so here it is!

With the success of my making the beat episode for “I’m on a Boat” by The Lonely Island (It’s actually my most viewed page now!) I’ve had several requests to do other Lonely Island tracks – unusually enough, most for “We like Sportz”.
It’s a hilarious song, with one of the silliest sounding beats I can bring to mind, so I went ahead and made it.

How do you annoy Lady Gaga? 
I thought I’d try doing a song in the charts that had some sweet synths in it – A bit of oscillator sync, mod bus routing with Thor and filter envelopes! All nicely summed up in under 10 minutes – what more could you want? 
As usual, made with Reason 4.
